Searching for Solutions to an Overpackaged World |
Union of Concerned Scientists Amy Lynd Luers leads UCS's California climate change impacts work aimed at strengthening support for strong state and regional climate policies. She has conducted applied research on global environmental change in the U.S. and throughout Latin America. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and a M.A. in International Policy Studies from Stanford, and a B.S. in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University. |
Charles McGlashan offers a broad vision based on sustainability: better transit systems, more affordable housing, renewable energy and green building, and protection of habitat and open space. He will provide insight into community energy choices and local action that will position Marin to lead by example in the vital arena of environmental protection, and address the three Es of sustainability: environment, economy, and social equity. |
